Lars Ahrendtsen, CEO of BlueTech Center, and Kirsten Elkjær, Regional Director at Fynske Bank, will present the BlueTech Innovation Award - powered by the Fonden for Fynske Bank - for the first time.
The award goes to a Funen-based company that has distinguished itself through its work with maritime innovation, helping to accelerate the development of the maritime industry.
Three companies have been nominated for this year’s award, and the winner will be announced live on stage.

Ole Graa Jakobsen started his career in Maersk in 2008 and was appointed Vice President, Head of Fleet Technology in 2016.
Since joining Maersk, Ole has held various positions with Maersk Maritime Technology and Maersk Line Technical Operation responsible for the technical management of the 300+ container vessels managed by Maersk.
In his current role, Ole is responsible for all Maersk container vessel designs, vessel technologies, asset optimizations and retrofits. With this position Ole is a leading figure in formulating and executing the Maersk decarbonization strategy.
